When you donate through Givo, you are contributing directly to a verified NGO or cause of your choice. This is not a purchase of goods or services, but a voluntary contribution made for social impact.

We understand that mistakes can happen. Givo will review refund requests only in the following situations:

Duplicate Transactions: If you accidentally donated twice for the same cause.
Technical Errors: If there was a payment gateway issue resulting in an incorrect charge.
Statutory Compliance Issues: If an NGO loses statutory approval to receive donations (and we have not yet disbursed the funds to them).

Approved refunds will be processed (after deducting payment gateway charges, if applicable) within 10 working days.

Since Givo facilitates digital donations, there is no physical product or service delivery involved. Your transaction is complete once payment confirmation is received and your donation is sent to the selected NGO.

Givo deducts a small platform fee and applicable taxes (agreed upon with the NGO) before disbursing funds.

NGOs on Givo are responsible for maintaining all legal approvals (such as 80G, 12A, FCRA where relevant).

If we are notified that an NGO has lost such approvals, donations received after that date and not yet disbursed will be refunded to donors (after deducting charges).
Givo reserves the right to take legal action against NGOs that fail to inform us promptly of such compliance changes.
